Richard Marshall
Leadership Coach.
I am a seasoned leader, motivator, and business developer who is privileged to coach others on their own journeys.
I am an ILM level five certified leadership coach and mentor. My background is legal and commercial. I was admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales in 1987, and in the Republic of Ireland in 2016, I am also a Chartered Marketer, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, a Fellow of the Institute of Leadership, and a Fellow of the Society of Arts
More importantly from a leadership coaching perspective I spent over twenty five years on the board of a top 200 UK law firm, over nine of which were as CEO; I have lived leadership at the coal face, created and driven strategies, built a brand, created growth, lived through the pain of the 2008 financial crisis, built, managed and led a business through hard times and good – in short I know your world, I know how it feels.
I am involved in the professional and business communities of both the UK and the Republic of Ireland, and sit on the Financial and Professional Service’s Committee of the British Irish Chamber of Commerce.
I have coached professionals including lawyers, accountants, and entrepreneurs in various sectors. Without exception my clients are brilliant in their field, with huge depth of knowledge whether it be in a product or service, but not necessarily of how to develop their strategy and construct and maintain the business platform to deliver their goals; that’s where I come in.
I have homes in both Yorkshire and Ireland and practice from both.
I share my life with my partner Susan who is an artist, and I have three adult children and two bossy cats. My interests include cooking, annoying my guitar teacher, and bursting balloons.
I highly recommend Richard to anyone seeking professional guidance and mentorship in the business world.
